2:1__Thus_the_heavens_and_the_earth_were_completed_in_all_their_vast_array。
天地以及点缀的万物都创造完毕了。
2:2__By_the_seventh_day_God_had_finished_the_work_he_had_been_doing;so_on_the_seventh_day_he_rested_from_all_his_work。
在第七天，上帝之前一直在忙于创造，便决定在这一天休息。
2:3__And_God_blessed_the_seventh_day_and_made_it_holy，_because_on_it_he_rested_from_all_the_work_of_creating_that_he_had_done。_
上帝赐福给第七天，将这天定为圣日。
因为这一天，上帝停下了所有的创造，进行休息。
2:4__This_is_the_account_of_the_heavens_and_the_earth_when_they_were_created。_When_the_LORD_God_made_the_earth_and_the_heavens--
以下记录了创造天地时的一些细节。
在耶和华上帝创造出天和地后——
2:5__and_no_shrub_of_the_field_had_yet_appeared_on_the_earth_and_no_plant_of_the_field_had_yet_sprung_up，_for_the_LORD_God_had_not_sent_rain_on_the_earth_and_there_was_no_man_to_work_the_ground，
大地是光秃的，没有任何的草木菜蔬。
因为那时耶和华上帝还没有降雨到地上，也没有人类在土地上耕作。
2:6__but_streams_came_up_from_the_earth_and_watered_the_whole_surface_of_the_ground--
但是有水雾从地上蒸腾而起，滋润着土地。
2:7__the_LORD_God_formed_the_man_from_the_dust_of_the_ground_and_breathed_into_his_nostrils_the_breath_of_life，_and_the_man_became_a_living_being。
耶和华上帝用地上的尘土塑造出一个人，并将生命的气息吹进了这个人的鼻孔。
于是这个人就有了生命。
2:8__Now_the_LORD_God_had_planted_a_garden_in_the_east，_in_Eden;_and_there_he_put_the_man_he_had_formed。
耶和华上帝在大地的东方开辟了一个乐园，起名为伊甸园。
耶和华上帝将那个有生命的人安置在伊甸园里。
2:9__And_the_LORD_God_made_all_kinds_of_trees_grow_out_of_the_ground--trees_that_were_pleasing_to_the_eye_and_good_for_food。_In_the_middle_of_the_garden_were_the_tree_of_life_and_the_tree_of_the_knowledge_of_good_and_evil。
耶和华上帝让乐园生长出各式各样的树木，那些树木都结着赏心悦目并可以食用的果实。
乐园的中央，生长着一棵生命之树和一棵知善恶之树。
2:10__A_river_watering_the_garden_flowed_from_Eden;_from_there_it_was_separated_into_four_headwaters。
伊甸园里有一条负责灌溉的河流。
这条河流出了伊甸园后，就分成四条支流。
2:11__The_name_of_the_first_is_the_Pishon;_it_winds_through_the_entire_land_of_Havilah，_where_there_is_gold。
第一条支流名为比逊河；它流经哈腓拉地区，那里盛产黄金。
2:12__(The_gold_of_that_land_is_good;_aromatic_resin_and_onyx_are_also_there。)
（哈腓拉出产全大陆最好的黄金，也盛产珍珠和红玛瑙。）
2:13__The_name_of_the_second_river_is_the_Gihon;_it_winds_through_the_entire_land_of_Cush。
第二条支流名为基训河，它流经古实地区。
2:14__The_name_of_the_third_river_is_the_Tigris;_it_runs_along_the_east_side_of_Asshur。_And_the_fourth_river_is_the_Euphrates。
第三条支流名为底格里斯河，它流经亚述地区的东侧。
第四条支流名为幼发拉底河。
2:15__The_LORD_God_took_the_man_and_put_him_in_the_Garden_of_Eden_to_work_it_and_take_care_of_it。
耶和华上帝让安置在伊甸园的那人，负责看护和管理园林。
2:16__And_the_LORD_God_commanded_the_man，_“You_are_free_to_eat_from_any_tree_in_the_garden;
耶和华上帝对那人说：“乐园里的各种树木所结的果实，你可以随便吃。”
2:17__but_you_must_not_eat_from_the_tree_of_the_knowledge_of_good_and_evil，_for_when_you_eat_of_it_you_will_surely_die。“
“然而你要谨记，知善恶之树的果实你不能吃，你吃了就会死亡。”
2:18__The_LORD_God_said，_“It_is_not_good_for_the_man_to_be_alone。_I_will_make_a_helper_suitable_for_him。“
耶和华上帝又说：“一个人也太孤单了，我要为他造一个合适的伴侣。”
2:19__Now_the_LORD_God_had_formed_out_of_the_ground_all_the_beasts_of_the_field_and_all_the_birds_of_the_air。_He_brought_them_to_the_man_to_see_what_he_would_name_them;_and_whatever_the_man_called_each_living_creature，_that_was_its_name。
耶和华上帝创造了各种生活在地上的走兽、以及各种飞翔在天空中的禽鸟，并把这些生灵带到那人面前。
让那人为它们一一命名，那将是它们往后独一无二的名字。
2:20__So_the_man_gave_names_to_all_the_livestock，_the_birds_of_the_air_and_all_the_beasts_of_the_field。_But_for_Adam_no_suitable_helper_was_found。
那人给地上的各种走兽、以及天空中的各种禽鸟，都分别起了名字，也给自己起了一个名字，叫亚当（希伯来语：人类）。
亚当并没有找到合适的伴侣。
2:21__So_the_LORD_God_caused_the_man_to_fall_into_a_deep_sleep;_and_while_he_was_sleeping，_he_took_one_of_the_man＇s_ribs_and_closed_up_the_place_with_flesh。
于是，耶和华上帝让亚当沉睡了过去。
趁着亚当沉睡时，耶和华上帝取下了他的一根肋骨，并让他的创口恢复如初。
2:22__Then_the_LORD_God_made_a_woman_from_the_rib_he_had_taken_out_of_the_man，_and_he_brought_her_to_the_man。
耶和华上帝用这条肋骨造出一个女性人类，然后带着她去见亚当。
2:23__The_man_said，_“This_is_now_bone_of_my_bones_and_flesh_of_my_flesh;_she_shall_be_called_＇woman，＇_for_she_was_taken_out_of_man。“
亚当说：“这是我的骨中之骨、肉中之肉，她的名字应为‘女人’，因为她是一个完整的人的一部分。”
2:24__For_this_reason_a_man_will_leave_his_father_and_mother_and_be_united_to_his_wife，_and_they_will_become_one_flesh。
自此，人类长大后就要离开自己的父母，去寻找一个适合的妻子，结合成为一个整体。
2:25__The_man_and_his_wife_were_both_naked，_and_they_felt_no_shame。
那时候，亚当和他的妻子都是****着身体，他们觉得这样很自然。
