12:1___The_LORD_had_said_to_Abram，_“Leave_your_country，_your_people_and_your_father＇s_household_and_go_to_the_land_I_will_show_you。
耶和华对亚伯兰说：“你要离开你的家乡，离开你的族人，离开你的兄弟，前往我指示的地方。”
12:2___“I_will_make_you_into_a_great_nation_and_I_will_bless_you;_I_will_make_your_name_great，_and_you_will_be_a_blessing。
“我会赐福给你，你将会建立一个伟大的国家，你的名字将会被人们称颂。”
12:3___I_will_bless_those_who_bless_you，_and_whoever_curses_you_I_will_curse;_and_all_peoples_on_earth_will_be_blessed_through_you。“
“我会赐福给那些祝福你的人，我会诅咒那些咒骂你的人。”
“生活在大地上的人类，都将因你而得到幸福。”
12:4___So_Abram_left，_as_the_LORD_had_told_him;_and_Lot_went_with_him。_Abram_was_seventy-five_years_old_when_he_set_out_from_Haran。
于是，亚伯兰遵照耶和华的吩咐，前往指引之地。
亚伯兰离开哈兰时，正好是七十五岁，他的侄儿罗得也随同离开。
12:5___He_took_his_wife_Sarai，_his_nephew_Lot，_all_the_possessions_they_had_accumulated_and_the_people_they_had_acquired_in_Haran，_and_they_set_out_for_the_land_of_Canaan，_and_they_arrived_there。
亚伯兰带着妻子撒莱、侄儿罗得，以及在哈兰积蓄的财物和奴仆，来到迦南地区。
12:6___Abram_traveled_through_the_land_as_far_as_the_site_of_the_great_tree_of_Moreh_at_Shechem。_At_that_time_the_Canaanites_were_in_the_land。
他们穿过了迦南，来到了示剑地区的摩利橡树。
当时，迦南人世代生活在此地。
12:7___The_LORD_appeared_to_Abram_and_said，_“To_your_offspring_I_will_give_this_land。“_So_he_built_an_altar_there_to_the_LORD，_who_had_appeared_to_him。
耶和华对亚伯兰显现，说：“这片土地，我会赐给你的后裔。”
亚伯兰在耶和华显现的地方，修筑了一座祭坛。
12:8___From_there_he_went_on_toward_the_hills_east_of_Bethel_and_pitched_his_tent，_with_Bethel_on_the_west_and_Ai_on_the_east。_There_he_built_an_altar_to_the_LORD_and_called_on_the_name_of_the_LORD。
亚伯兰一行离开了示剑，来到伯特利东部的山区。
山区的西侧是伯特利，东侧是艾。
他们在那里扎营住宿，又修筑了一座祭坛，向耶和华祈祷。
12:9___Then_Abram_set_out_and_continued_toward_the_Negev。
后来，他们一路南行到尼革夫。
12:10__Now_there_was_a_famine_in_the_land，_and_Abram_went_down_to_Egypt_to_live_there_for_a_while_because_the_famine_was_severe。
当时，尼革夫正在闹饥荒。
亚伯兰决定继续南下，去埃及暂住一段时间。
12:11__As_he_was_about_to_enter_Egypt，_he_said_to_his_wife_Sarai，_“I_know_what_a_beautiful_woman_you_are。
即将进入埃及时，亚伯兰对妻子撒莱说：“你是如此的美貌，”
12:12__When_the_Egyptians_see_you，_they_will_say，_＇This_is_his_wife。＇_Then_they_will_kill_me_but_will_let_you_live。
“倘若埃及人知道你是我的妻子，他们一定会杀死我，把你抢走。”
12:13__Say_you_are_my_sister，_so_that_I_will_be_treated_well_for_your_sake_and_my_life_will_be_spared_because_of_you。“
“因此，进入埃及后，你要假称是我妹妹。”
“这样一来，我就可以托你的福，不会被人杀死。”
12:14__When_Abram_came_to_Egypt，_the_Egyptians_saw_that_she_was_a_very_beautiful_woman。
他们来到了埃及，埃及人果然被撒莱的容貌惊艳。
12:15__And_when_Pharaoh＇s_officials_saw_her，_they_praised_her_to_Pharaoh，_and_she_was_taken_into_his_palace。
埃及法老听到官员们对撒莱的赞美，就命人将她带到皇宫里。
12:16__He_treated_Abram_well_for_her_sake，_and_Abram_acquired_sheep_and_cattle，_male_and_female_donkeys，_menservants_and_maidservants，_and_camels。
法老因此厚厚的赏赐了亚伯兰。
亚伯兰得到了许多牛羊、公驴母驴、奴仆和骆驼。
12:17__But_the_LORD_inflicted_serious_diseases_on_Pharaoh_and_his_household_because_of_Abram＇s_wife_Sarai。
耶和华知道了此事，就对法老的皇宫降下了灾病。
法老和他的家人都患上了可怕的疾病。
12:18__So_Pharaoh_summoned_Abram。_“What_have_you_done_to_me?“_he_said。_“Why_didn＇t_you_tell_me_she_was_your_wife?
知道事情的真相后，法老召见亚伯兰，说：“你为何不告诉我实情？你为何不告诉我那女子是你妻子？”
12:19__Why_did_you_say，_＇She_is_my_sister，＇_so_that_I_took_her_to_be_my_wife?_Now_then，_here_is_your_wife。_Take_her_and_go!“
“你为何说她是你妹妹，我差点就娶她为妻子了！”
“我如今把妻子还你，你马上带她走。”
12:20__Then_Pharaoh_gave_orders_about_Abram_to_his_men，_and_they_sent_him_on_his_way，_with_his_wife_and_everything_he_had。
法老遣人将亚伯兰、亚伯兰的妻子以及奴仆财物等，送出了埃及。
