17:1___When_Abram_was_ninety-nine_years_old，_the_LORD_appeared_to_him_and_said，_“I_am_God_Almighty;_walk_before_me_and_be_blameless。
亚伯兰九十九岁时，耶和华对他显现，说：“我乃是全能的上帝，你乃是我虔诚的信徒。”
17:2___I_will_confirm_my_covenant_between_me_and_you_and_will_greatly_increase_your_numbers。“
“我要和你立下圣约，你的后裔将会繁盛兴旺。”
17:3___Abram_fell_facedown，_and_God_said_to_him，
亚伯兰跪伏在地上，上帝说：
17:4___“As_for_me，_this_is_my_covenant_with_you:_You_will_be_the_father_of_many_nations。
“立下圣约后，你将成为众国之父。”
17:5___No_longer_will_you_be_called_Abram;_your_name_will_be_Abraham，_for_I_have_made_you_a_father_of_many_nations。
“此后，你的名字不再是亚伯兰，你要名为亚伯拉罕（希伯来语：众国之父），我会使你名符其实的。”
17:6___I_will_make_you_very_fruitful;_I_will_make_nations_of_you，_and_kings_will_come_from_you。
“我会赐予你多不胜数的后裔，你的血脉会发展出众多的民族，你的血脉会诞生出众多的君王。”
17:7___I_will_establish_my_covenant_as_an_everlasting_covenant_between_me_and_you_and_your_descendants_after_you_for_the_generations_to_come，_to_be_your_God_and_the_God_of_your_descendants_after_you。
“我要和你，以及你的后裔，立下一个永恒的圣约。”
“你和你世世代代的后裔，要一直事奉于我，我是你们唯一的上帝。”
17:8___The_whole_land_of_Canaan，_where_you_are_now_an_alien，_I_will_give_as_an_everlasting_possession_to_you_and_your_descendants_after_you;_and_I_will_be_their_God。“
“你如今寄居在迦南，我会将迦南所有的土地，永远赐给你和你的后裔，这便是你们事奉我的回报。”
17:9___Then_God_said_to_Abraham，_“As_for_you，_you_must_keep_my_covenant，_you_and_your_descendants_after_you_for_the_generations_to_come。
上帝对亚伯拉罕说：“你和你的世世代代的后裔，要谨守这个圣约。”
17:10__This_is_my_covenant_with_you_and_your_descendants_after_you，_the_covenant_you_are_to_keep:_Every_male_among_you_shall_be_circumcised。
“我和你，以及你的后裔立下的这个圣约，你们所有的男子都必须行割礼，作为守约的见证。”
17:11__You_are_to_undergo_circumcision，_and_it_will_be_the_sign_of_the_covenant_between_me_and_you。
“你要割去那阳物的包皮，这乃是我和你们立下圣约的印记。”
17:12__For_the_generations_to_come_every_male_among_you_who_is_eight_days_old_must_be_circumcised，_including_those_born_in_your_household_or_bought_with_money_from_a_foreigner--those_who_are_not_your_offspring。
“此后，你们族中出生的男婴，还有买来的外族仆人所生的男婴，都要在出生的第八天行割礼。”
（注：耶和华用六天创世，第七天休息。故此，第八天，象征着开端。）
17:13__Whether_born_in_your_household_or_bought_with_your_money，_they_must_be_circumcised。_My_covenant_in_your_flesh_is_to_be_an_everlasting_covenant。
“你们族中所有的男子，还有买来的外族男仆，都必须行割礼。”
“这样，圣约便可立于你们的身心之中，直至永恒。”
17:14__Any_uncircumcised_male，_who_has_not_been_circumcised_in_the_flesh，_will_be_cut_off_from_his_people;_he_has_broken_my_covenant。“
“任何不受割礼的男子，不能存留在族中，因为他违背我立下的圣约。”
17:15__God_also_said_to_Abraham，_“As_for_Sarai_your_wife，_you_are_no_longer_to_call_her_Sarai;_her_name_will_be_Sarah。
上帝又对亚伯拉罕说：“你的妻子撒莱，以后不可再叫撒莱，她的名字将是撒拉。”
17:16__I_will_bless_her_and_will_surely_give_you_a_son_by_her。_I_will_bless_her_so_that_she_will_be_the_mother_of_nations;_kings_of_peoples_will_come_from_her。“
“我会赐福给她，她会给你生下一个儿子。”
“她会成为众国之母，她的血脉会诞生出众多的君王。”
17:17__Abraham_fell_facedown;_he_laughed_and_said_to_himself，_“Will_a_son_be_born_to_a_man_a_hundred_years_old?_Will_Sarah_bear_a_child_at_the_age_of_ninety?“
这时，跪伏在地上的亚伯拉罕偷偷笑了，心想：“没听说过近百岁的人还能生孩子的，撒拉都已经九十岁了，她怎可能还能生得出一个儿子？”
17:18__And_Abraham_said_to_God，_“If_only_Ishmael_might_live_under_your_blessing!“
亚伯拉罕说：“我已别无所求，惟愿以实玛利能得到你的看顾！”
17:19__Then_God_said，_“Yes，_but_your_wife_Sarah_will_bear_you_a_son，_and_you_will_call_him_Isaac。_I_will_establish_my_covenant_with_him_as_an_everlasting_covenant_for_his_descendants_after_him。
上帝说：“你想的不对，你的妻子撒拉一定会为你生下一个儿子，你要将他取名为以撒（希伯来语：他笑着）。”
“日后，我会和他以及他的后裔，重申约定，使圣约成为永恒。”
17:20__And_as_for_Ishmael，_I_have_heard_you:_I_will_surely_bless_him;_I_will_make_him_fruitful_and_will_greatly_increase_his_numbers。_He_will_be_the_father_of_twelve_rulers，_and_I_will_make_him_into_a_great_nation。
“至于以实玛利，我亦应诺于你，我会赐福给他。”
“我会使他子孙繁荣兴旺，他将会生下十二个族长，他的血脉会因此成为一个强盛的民族。”
17:21__But_my_covenant_I_will_establish_with_Isaac，_whom_Sarah_will_bear_to_you_by_this_time_next_year。“
“明年的这个时候，撒拉就会为你生下儿子以撒，他长大后，我会与他重申约定的。”
17:22__When_he_had_finished_speaking_with_Abraham，_God_went_up_from_him。
上帝说完，就升空而去。
17:23__On_that_very_day_Abraham_took_his_son_Ishmael_and_all_those_born_in_his_household_or_bought_with_his_money，_every_male_in_his_household，_and_circumcised_them，_as_God_told_him。
当天，亚伯拉罕遵照上帝的约定，召集了儿子和族中的所有男子，都行了割礼。
17:24__Abraham_was_ninety-nine_years_old_when_he_was_circumcised，
亚伯拉罕行割礼时，是九十九岁，
17:25__and_his_son_Ishmael_was_thirteen;
他儿子以实玛利当时是十三岁。
17:26__Abraham_and_his_son_Ishmael_were_both_circumcised_on_that_same_day。
亚伯拉罕和儿子以实玛利，是在同一天行割礼的。
17:27__And_every_male_in_Abraham＇s_household，_including_those_born_in_his_household_or_bought_from_a_foreigner，_was_circumcised_with_him。
亚伯拉罕族中所有的男子，包括族人和买来的外族仆人，都一同行了割礼。
